At Alpha Contracting Services, Inc. the safety of our customers and employees is our number one concern. We are dedicated to continually improving our safety program and ensuring each of our employees has the knowledge and equipment to complete every job safely.
When you contract with Alpha Contracting Services you can be assured that our crews do not pose any threat. All of our employees have an Alpha Contracting Services I.D. badge with a photo. To receive this badge the employee must pass a drug test and background examination. No one who fails a drug or background test will be allowed on any Alpha Contracting Services jobsite.
During the construction phase of your project we will make sure you understand what we are doing and how your safety is affected. If there are any precautionary steps you need to take we will work with you to get them done.
Here is an example of safety issues and how they affect you:
Maintaining a safe jobsite is a requirement of all our employees, not just our superintendents. Each of our employees is specifically trained to identify any hazards and the proper way to correct them. Our superintendents are continuously checking to ensure our employees are working as safely as possible. If an unsafe action is seen immediate action, including retraining the employee, is taken to correct it.
A weekly toolbox safety meeting is held every Monday morning. In this meeting a general safety topic is discussed along with any job specific safety items. Any safety violations from the previous week are addressed and the entire crew is refreshed on that particular issue.
